Antique Baluch camel ground prayer rug a design that is typical of the Sarakhs Baluch of Khorasan.

The rug has a very well drawn tree of life on a camel ground, the design and borders are typical of the Sarakh Baluch tribe. The rug is of fine weave and retains the decorative kilims at both ends.

The rug is in good condition with even wear, and mainly good pile. The sides have been replaced at some time in the rugs life and there are two finger tip size holes that could easily be repaired. The original kilims at both ends are a little ragged. (The price reflects the condition).

This is still a good collectable display item.

The rug has been hand washed and ready for use or display.

The rug is suitable for light domestic use or wall display.
