Antique Afghan tribal storage bag used to keep either grain or personal belongings in, possibly hanging up inside a yurt or tribal tent.

The bag face is piled with an attractive colour palette, the reverse has a stripped plain weave back. Note the closing panel at the top and the long decorative tassels.

The bag is in very good condition with very slight even wear and good pile.
