Antique Afghan Baluch rug of traditional ‘mushwani’ design, the rug is of a warm madder colour with indigo blue.

Circa 1900/20.

The rug has the traditional Mushwani design is indigo blue, the design is a series of multiple latch hooks or bird heads. The border is a rosette design, note the use of ivory for the corner rosettes.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. The wool is very soft and glossy.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
