Antique Afghan carpet with traditional Ersari design this carpet has superb colour with a very good orange / red field. The carpet has three rows of five large guls which are drawn in a very pleasing indigo blue.

he carpet is of a very useful room size with a pleasing squarer shape. The carpet was woven by settled Ersari weavers in Northern Afghanistan. The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile this is a really outstanding example of Afghan village weaving. The carpet has been hand washed and ready for use or display. The carpet is suitable for normal domestic floor use. Stock
