Old Afghan village rug with a single row of three large guls.

Circa 1900/20.

The rug is of a typical design from a Northern Afghan village, These are woven in Ersari village and often called Sulyman rugs.

The rug is offered at a lower price due to the old warp knot heads that can be seen scattered across the surface as ivory dots, these will blend in once the rug is used.

The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use and will take quite a lot of wear and tear.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
